Los Angeles, CA – Tego Calderón, one of the most respected rappers of the game, today presents the video for his new song “El Sitio”, which is part of his mixtape “The Original Gallo del Pais – O.G. El Mixtape”, launched mid-July and that which has converted into a true success.

The video was directed by Alexis Bousquet and recorded in Santurce (Puerto Rico), a very special place for Tego Calderón. The song and the same video clip is a tribute to the daily life of Tego and the people that inhabit this magical corner of Puerto Rico. It’s not only the home of many, but rather “El Sitio” where many of Tego’s stories were born, becoming part of Tego’s life and career. There, today, he has his studio and is also the center of his operations, in addition to being his creative refuge.

”El Sitio” began to be heard various months ago when a few first copies were handed over to some unprepared assistants of the traditional Puerto Rican Day Parade, held every year on the streets of New York. This was documented and can be viewed on Tego Calderón’s official website (www.tegocalderon.com).

”The Original Gallo del País – O.G. El Mixtape”, with its nine tracks, has transformed into a true sensation occupying the leading positions in digital sales on iTunes, not only in the urban genre but on the Latino lists, as well. Among the songs “Cierren”, “Robin Hood”, “Sin Usted Que”, “Suerte”, “Se Ajuma”, “Cosas” Que Pasan” – in addition to “El Sitio” – 2 collaborations with Arcangel on “Hablan de Mi” and with the legendary Panamanian singer Kafu Banton that accompanies Tego on “Like We (Ay Dios Mio)” are found. This recorded production, is the first since Tego Calderón’s “Contra-Ataca” published by Atlantic in 2008, and is edited under his record label, Jiggiri Records.
