Romeo Santos & Juanes Were the Surprise for 50 Thousand People Who Sang with JLG Under the Rain.
New York, NY – Last Saturday June 16th, the Dominican Republic got ready to party, when under the rain Juan Luis Guerra demonstrated that he continues to be a grand musician in his land. Before over 50 thousand people the rain never ceased, obliging the star to pause for security reasons on stage, but the multitude that filled the olympic stadium of Santo Domingo City left no choice for the folkloric music astro to come out and continue his event “A Son de Guerra”.
The people waited patiently, and when Juan Luis reappeared the magic returned making the event the best of the country. Songs like: “Mi bendición”, “Para ti”, “El Niágra en bicicleta” y “Lola” lit up the evening, without leaving out one of his greatest hits in his career “Visa para un sueño”. “Apaga y vámonos”, “La bilirrubina” and “La travesía”, were the hits with which JLG began, in a repertoire of at least 25 songs, resulting from hard work realized in a 30 years over the artist’s career. Juan Luis Guerra accomplished motivating the crown that never left despite the hard rain saying: “La Lluvia es una bendición…[The rain is a blessing]“. Without a doubt, this grand figure of high recognition did not fail to fulfill his promise to the public, as he sang, danced and demonstrated being the leader of his genre in an excellent show with the highest technological quality.
The audience exploded with contentment when Juan Luis Guerra played his magic card during the game, when as a surprise he brought the popular artist “Romeo Santos” to the stage, who performed various songs to then give way to the next surprise of the rainy evening, “JUANES”. Juan Luis Guerra finalized this historic concert with his past hits in a medley of bachata: “Estrellitas y duendes”, and “Burbujas de amor”, without forgetting the emblematic song of the Dominican Republic “Ojala sue llueva café”.
